hey I’m Dan Beldowicz bringing you

another quote from the car today’s quote
comes from Thomas Carlyle he says it is
the heart always that sees before the
head can see now that’s an interesting
quote because it talks about the
connection between your mind and your
heart and in when we we talked about
having uh you know following your
passionate eating and having a burning
desire for something it truly comes from
your heart because as soon as you have
this desire to do something and it sends
a message to your brain all sudden this
thinker this this mind this head of
yours
which really only records all past
experience is the only record of history
for you and it’s just based on
everything that has happened suddenly
says well you can’t do that you’re not
strong enough you’re not fit enough
you’re not this
you’re not that it’s never been done
before you why would you want to do that
your mother never said it was a good
idea
your heart’s desires are getting
trampled on by your mind and in the the
record of the past that you have whether
it’s limiting beliefs that you’ve
developed whether it’s the assumptions
around what it is that you can and
cannot do or if it’s just a deep-seated
gremlin where people or you specifically
are saying I’m not good enough that’s
not me
and that’s all in your head your head is
destroying your heart’s desire now the
whole key to all this is truly getting
your heart in your head to be in
alignment and that’s where meditation
really comes in because you’ve got to
retrain the brain right we’ve spent a
known however old you are
unless you’re aware and conscious of
what it is that you’re doing and
practicing and practicing this on a
daily basis then more than likely your
brain is conditioned in in just in a
habit of shutting down everything that
your heart brings up
so it’s always finding a reason of why
it is that you can’t do what it is that
your heart wants to do so that’s where
meditation really comes in is where
you’ve got to sit down and train your
brain your your brain is just a record
of the thoughts the feelings and what
actions were taken in the results you
got and then again how that made you
feel so if your brain is a constant
record of your thoughts in in your
emotions then we’ve got to be able to
train it in a way that you can start
aligning what it is that you want to
make that a memory
and we do that through either guided
meditation or honestly mental rehearsal
rehearsing what it’s going to feel like
when it is when you have what it is you
really want to have so when you have
this desire when you have something come
up you say you know what I’d like to
have that this is what I want this is
truly Who I am and where it I would like
to be we’ve got to sit down and mentally
stop we’ve got to pause our brain from
shutting it down and going into all of
the reasons why we can’t have what it is
that we truly want and then start moving
into how do we get it don’t worry about
the how right ii just know that it is
possible in some way shape or form rip
of our mind has to then start to say
okay well what if this happened what if
this was a possibility
suddenly that that stops the limiting
beliefs and assumptions that you can’t
do it it starts to open up the doors of
possibility right and your brain is
gonna find different things that an
associates way better that it aligns
with your thinking so if you can start
thinking on purpose and start saying it
is plus and start seeking out maybe
other people that have done it some some
guides or mentors those that have
unlocked this path before in a team what
it is that you want to have and even if
you can’t find it if it’s something
that’s totally outlandish way out there
and I and I’m talking like hey we’re
going to put a man on Mars type of out
there kind of thing that nobody’s ever
done it before then you got to start
doing that you’ve got it you are able to
train your brain you’re the only one
that has control over your thoughts and
that’s where we got to start to really
start controlling and thinking on
purpose not just allowing our brains to
leverage the 60,000 thoughts that it has
every single day
that are kneeling in alignment with
where it is you want to go and what it
is you want to have
so the heart is always going to see
before the head camp
the key to this is truly sitting down in
retraining your brain to follow your
heart instead of constantly having your
heart follow your brain that’s where
chronic stress constantly comes from is
that feeling of out of alignment and not
getting what it is that you truly want
you’ve got to be able to put that out
there you’ve got to be able to express
it and allow your heart to leave
and that’s where being on purpose truly
comes from
leading with your heart not just with
your head I’m Dan Beldowicz and if

Top 5 Mistakes Coaches Make When Choosing a Coaching Niche

Top 5 Mistakes Coaches make when choosing a coaching niche - Dan Beldowicz

Having a difficult time trying to decide what your coaching niche is going to be?

Not sure if it’s the right niche or if you will be able to make money with that niche?

Do you have too many niches that you can’t decide which one will be best for you?

Yep, all these questions can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stressed out and unsure of your coaching business.

The key to feeling confident with 100% clarity on the niche your are going into is to avoid these 5 most common mistakes that coaches make when choosing a coaching niche.

  1. Not aligning niche with your talent’s, strength and story – Now this one may seem obvious, but think of the story you can tell and the credibility it will build with your audience if you have gone through what they are going through. Sure you can coach people around a whole host of problems that you have never had, but the relatability, credibility and authority factors will not be there. Your audience wants and needs to have confidence in you that you will be the person to help them through their hard times. Many times it is the stories of your struggle that will inspire and motivate them to push through their fear, to break down the barriers that hold them back.
  2. Choosing a Niche before aligning your Mission/Vision/Values – Sharing your purpose and passion will be key for attracting new clients. To do this have a solid knowledge of your Vision, Mission and Values. This will create a deeper connection with your audience and they will get to know, like and trust you, faster and easier. This give you the ability to share exactly what you do, with who and most importantly why you do it.
  3. Picking a niche that is too wide and general – You’ve likely heard it before, “Narrow your Niche” But how far do you have to go? You may be thinking, ‘If I get that narrow now one will find me…’ and I totally agree with narrowing your niche, but when you do, you better know that your niche is there and your not trying to market to 3 people in the entire world. Here is where being able to tap into the resources of today’s top data companies will give you the stats, data and confidence to know the size of your niche and how to get in front of them. Imagine Google, Amazon, Facebook & Linkedin where able to use their servers to validate your niche, knowing that they are there, searching for you at the same time you are searching for them. When you pick a niche that is too general you speak in general terms and general terms do not resonate with people. You need to use the words they are using in their minds.
  4. Missing the Message – So many coaches finally pick a niche and start to market and talk about it to their audience and they totally miss the message. The message they send out isn’t one that resonates with the audience and they end up clientless.  Stop talking about what it is that you have to offer, they’re not looking for what you offer. Most people start searching online, they start searching for the problem that they’re having and start reading about it. This leads them to many different sources of information, websites, videos, forums, blogs, books and more. Make what it is you have to offer simple to understand, speaking in terms of the problems your niche audience is having. The other miss in messaging is using the wrong words. Wouldn’t it be so much easier if you could just know the exact words that your audience is actually using to describe their problems. Then you could just transition their problems into your solutions and you have a winning combination to drive more clients. Know exactly the words and phrases that niche audience are using so you can show up in front of the right person, at the right time, with the right message.
  5. Not deciding or starting with too many niches –  Many coaches I’ve met either don’t decide or have more than one niche in mind. When you don’t decide on a niche, you likely think that everyone can be your client. This leads to generalized information, messages, and lack of connection with your audience. Niching down is the fastest and easiest way to create packages, courses, books, coaching programs that sell, because that audience knows exactly what they are going to get. The other challenge is having more than one to start. You likely switch back and forth, not wanting to miss out on offering something to the other niche, but this puts you in an endless loop accomplishing very little. The best way to overcome this is to look at the niches you would like to go into and evaluate which one should come first. Prioritize it, and attack each niche, one by one. With lack of focus comes analysis paralysis and longer times to market. This causes coaches to never start, to never launch their business… start with one, become profitable, automate as much as possible, then start on the next niche.

Mind the Gap

Mind the Gap

Mind the GapThe gap I’m talking about is the “knowing doing gap”. Now for all you city folk you know from the subway there is a “mind the gap” reminder on the subway floor so you don’t fall between the train in the platform.  It’s a reminder we all need to mind the gaps in our lives. We are all doing things that we know we shouldn’t be doing and we are all not doing things we know we should be doing and most times those are the exact things that will give us exactly what we want.

You see, we are constantly out looking for new innovations, new ways to do things, new information, new education, another way to do something, somebody else’s perspective, how somebody else did it. So rarely do we actually turn within to see what we already know about the things that we should be doing, the things that we could have done, the things that we would have done, had we not been afraid to do it. That’s the biggest thing with the knowing doing gap! What stops us from doing the things that we know we should, is the fear of either missing out, the fear of criticism, the fear of what other people are going to think about us and it holds us back from who we truly are. From having what we really want.  From doing the things we really want to do. Being the person that we truly know we’re meant to be, and living the life of our dreams.

Now I know, to some of you this all sounds like a whole bunch of hooey, or meditative bullshit or hippie dippie crap, but it’s true. If you don’t like what you hearing take a look in the mirror. Are you living the life that you want to live? Do you have the relationship you want to have? Do you have the financial abundance that you know you want?

When you stop judging the message, and if you don’t like what you hear change the channel or turn the page, but ultimately that’s more about you, because I think and I feel that you probably already know that there are things in your life that you should be doing, could-be doing, and would-be doing if you weren’t holding back.  You are falling in the knowing doing gap!

How do I know? Because I do it too. I’ve done it for years! And it took a huge wake up call for me to start closing that gap, to really decide to go after the things that I really want. And for some people that might be a financial fall, it might be the loss of a relationship, or getting out of one. It might be getting out of the career or job that you hate. Now I’m not saying to do it all at once, but get started on the journey. At-least take responsibility and start going through what it is you truly know and what are the things that you’re actually doing.

Once you start working on yourself, and following your inner voice you, start closing the knowing doing gap. And when you start closing knowing doing gap, life opens up and what you desire starts to enter your life.

Close the knowing doing gap by making faith in yourself greater than all your fears and then you’ll truly wake up on purpose.
